In January 2014, Christian wrote a story for a fantasy writing subreddit writing challenge. The challenge was to write “a funny story where magic goes horribly wrong”.  The result was Renault D’esprit.  We had posted the story a while ago, but in case you missed it, we’ve re-posted it here.  It gives a bit of bonus backstory to Nia and Renault’s past at Armstrungard
