New Patreon Stretch Goal and Tiers!

Hi all!

As you may know, The Once And Future Nerd could not happen without the support of our Patrons on Patreon. For example, thanks to our Patrons, we are able to record in a top-notch studio and provide the audio quality that our fans expect. As the show grows, our recording and operating costs only increase. With more money per episode, we can continue to improve the show, be better able to compensate the small army of people who work hard to make it, and hopefully expand its reach.

So to help us achieve all of this, we have added new Patreon tiers, as well as a new stretch goal! If we reach $500 in pledges per episode, we will commission a unique Patron-only piece of artwork for EACH chapter of the podcast. This artwork will depict a scene or style from that chapter. Depending on pledge tier, patrons will receive a copy of this artwork in the form of either a digital download, a sticker in the mail, or a full-sized poster print of the artwork! Digital prints and stickers will be activated at the $3 and $5 tiers, respectively. To receive the full-sized poster print in the mail, we have created a new $45 pledge tier. This tier will only be active once the stretch goal has been reached. We have also added an additional tier at $60 pledged per episode. At this tier, the creators of the show will help critique and improve your writing and worldbuilding skills! (Check the tiers on our Patreon profile for the exact terms and conditions.)

With your help and support, we can reach these new goals by the time our next chapter premieres on March 24. So if you’ve been thinking it was time you subscribed on Patreon, now would be a great time. If you already subscribe but were thinking of giving more, now would be a great time to upgrade your pledge. If you can’t spare any more money right now, it would be a great time to talk us up to your friends. Thank you in advance, and for all of the love and support you already give us, and no matter what we will see you on March 24 for new episodes!

Won’t you please tell us about yourselves?

Hey, you! Yes – you!

We have a favor to ask.

We’re conducting an audience survey to get a sense of your likes and dislikes and to see where we can grow and improve the show. If you’d participate in the survey, that would be tremendously appreciated. It’ll take about 15-20 minutes of your time, so when you’ve got the chance, please head over to bit.ly/TOAFN2019.

Thank you so much!

TOAFN will be at PodCon!

Hey everyone!

We are so happy to announce that THE ONCE AND FUTURE NERD will be at PodCon this coming weekend, Jan. 19-20 in Seattle! Come say hi to co-creators Zach Glass and Christian Kelley-Madera and cast member Greg Schulz (Yllowyyn). We’ll be sharing a booth with our friends at Left Trigger Right Trigger, and we’ll have some limited edition stuff to give away that’s being made just for the Con.

We would love to meet you all. Hope to see you there!
